Olivia Lamont's PledgePage
Our mission as a group of Warwick Theatre students, is to take a performance of Martin Crimp's 'Attempts on her Life' to edinburgh fringe festival and perform it at our university.
We need to fund our own project including finding a venue, some accomadation, advertising whilst at the festival and transport to get us there which collectivly adds up to between £10,000 - £15,000! Going to edinburgh festival will be an amazing experience which will benefit us in many ways. Firstly we will gain confidence in performance which will be a skill that can help us both in our course and in our careers past university. The reason for doing this at the Edinburgh fringe is to offer us a platform to perform while allowing us to widen our own knowledge and appreciation of a diverse range of performances. We intend to complete and run this whole project as a group to have involvement in the theatre industry that we can only gain through practical experience. This is a very ambitious project but we are all very enthusiastic to perform and work hard to get our play to the edinburgh fringe festival. If you could contribute in any way to the funding we would be very gratefull. We understand that this is a big ask of you, but anything however big or small will help us towards our goal. If your up at the Edinburgh festival in August look out for us! Thanks CastOff |
